This actuator is designed specifically as a direct replacement for the MK5 VW Golf which utilises the 2.0 litre FSiT engine.
This wastegate actuator, if assembled with the yellow colored spring, which is rated to a base pressure of 10-15 PSI, will increase the boost output of the application to a degree that will exceed the ability of the stock fuel system to maintain the necessary supply of fuel. Because of this, we must recommend that a high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) upgrade be installed, and the necessary fuel pump specific software also be utilized prior to the installation of this actuator. We recommend using software, that offers the ability to adjust boost, fuel, and timing settings to best compliment this wastegate actuator, paired with a HPFP upgrade, in order to be able to supply ample fueling.
The actuator can be assembled with different springs upon request.
