De Control Kit geeft de bestuurder de mogelijkheid om de Akrapovic achterste uitlaatkleppen te bedienen via de Corvette C7 drive mode selector. Zodra een eenvoudig installatieproces is voltooid, stuurt het elektronische platform automatisch de achterste kleppen van de uitlaat aan op basis van het motortoerental, de versnelling en de geselecteerde rijmodus.
De Control Kit is alleen verplicht voor Corvette C7's zonder Performance-uitlaat (NPP-uitlaat). Corvette C7's die zijn uitgerust met een GM Performance-uitlaat (NPP-uitlaat) hebben de Control Kit (P-HF886) niet nodig.
