The Gecko Pro Fine Finish is easy to work with and performs exactly as you want it to – even on tricky, delicate or dark paintwork. The formula produces hardly any dust and works smoothly. Perfect for detailers and garages aiming for top quality without the hassle. Use this product together with the Gecko Soft Finishing Pad for a super-smooth, glossy finish.
Please note: The Fine Finish does not offer long-term protection. To seal the paintwork and ensure a lasting shine, always finish with Gecko Pro Wax Guard (item number 687692).
Application & Use
Gecko Pro Fine Finish is designed for professional use as the final step in the polishing process. all paint types, particularly vehicles where the finish must be perfected. Indispensable when preparing vehicles for delivery or for high-end detailing projects.
Instructions for use
1. Preparation: Clean the paintwork thoroughly and remove any residue from previous polishing compounds using a degreaser. Ensure the paintwork is cool and dry.
2. Application: Apply a small amount to the Gecko Soft Finishing Pad.
3. Spreading: Spread the product over the surface at low speed.
4. Polishing: Increase the speed to 1000–1800 rpm and work in slow, overlapping strokes until the product becomes almost transparent.
5. Wiping: Remove any product residue with a clean Gecko Microfibre Cloth from the 5-pack (item no. 687853).
6. After-treatment: Always finish with a protective product such as Gecko Wax Guard (item no. 687692) or Gecko Pro Wax Finish & Protect (item no. 687692) for a long-lasting, water-repellent paint sealant.
Tip from the professional
Always pay attention to the temperature of the paintwork. For a smooth, hologram-free finish, it is best to work on a cool surface (between 15–25°C). If the paint is too warm, the fine finish will evaporate too quickly and will not set properly. You should therefore work in the shade or in a well-ventilated workspace. You will immediately see the difference in the depth and clarity of the shine.
