The Competition high performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (550mm x 445mm x 70mm = 17,130cc), providing 134% more flow area, as well as 105% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high performance mesh is a high quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 9.5kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analysis in the CFD system.
The connection diameters are Ø62mm at the intercooler inlet and Ø67mm at the intercooler outlet. Optionally, this kit is available with complete charge air piping. This includes 3 reinforced silicone hoses, as well as 1 aluminum charge air pipe.
The result is excellent cooling characteristics with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. Complete ready-to-install kit, simply replace with stock intercooler - plug and play. Tested and pressure stable up to 6 bar. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring. Suitable for racing.
