The intercooler upgrade kit:

The WAGNERTUNING high performance intercooler features a new Competition mesh (Tube Fin) with dimensions of 287 mm x 185 mm x 115 mm. This was developed specifically for the high demands of the BMW M3/M4 and offers 114% more external net volume compared to the original intercooler. The ratio between internal and external cooling surface used here generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the best possible internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties at lowest backpressure. Thus, this kit is also suitable for racing. An optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!

All WAGNERTUNING intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating, so that a lasting cooling effect is ensured. The installation of the system is also uncomplicated and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.

The water cooler upgrade kit:

The 3.0 liter S55B30 turbo engine of the BMW M3/M4 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. Accordingly, the cooling process of the charge air is not carried out (as usual) with the ambient air as a cooling medium, but is realized with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature can therefore be directly equated with improved charge air cooling performance. This is exactly where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING Upgrade water coolers come into play. The newly developed Competition - racing meshes of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water coolers increase the radiator volume of the standard water coolers by 89% for the frontal and by 94% for the lateral. The ratio between inner and outer cooling surface generates a maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the adjacent components (e.g. the engine water cooler behind it) sufficient air flow for its heat exchange. Furthermore, with the help of the increased amount of cooling water, the entire system thermics can be kept at a lower level over a longer period of time.

Important product features:
- Compared to the OEM Charge Pipes, the WAGNER system has a larger flow diameter and no, as found in the OEM product, countless internal cross-section changes.
- this results in a 40% lower back pressure, which relieves the turbocharger and at the same time provides a better response (see Flow Bench graphic below)
