The high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16.5L) and thus offers an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance network provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient airflow. It is a high quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analyzes in the CFD system. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the charge air cooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. This kit is therefore ideal for racing. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the crossbar form a stable unit and, thanks to the new Competition high-performance network, weigh only 14.3kg. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). Tested up to 6 bar and stable under pressure. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
