The high performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (500mm x 220mm x 90mm V=9.9Liter), offering an 18% larger flow area, as well as 65% more intercooler volume compared to the original RS 2 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh offers the highest cooling characteristics at the cutting edge of tube-fin technology. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CAD system. The intercooler kit was developed directly for the S2/RS2 in conjunction with our short intake manifold. The installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do. An optimal cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance!

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
