The 2.0L M 133 turbo engine of AMG's specified A-Class models is equipped with indirect air cooling. The cooling process of the intake air is therefore not realized (as usual) with the ambient air as the cooling medium, but made using a proprietary cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature is therefore also directly equivalent to an improved cooling capacity of the intake air. This is exactly where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING Upgrade Radiator come in handy.
The newly developed Competition race set of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the series water cooler by a total of 78%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows adjacent components (e.g. The engine radiator behind it) sufficient airflow for its heat exchange. In addition, the radiators are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating to ensure a long-term cooling effect. Installation of the system is also easy using our installation instructions and plug and play.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
