A dump trap or blow off valve serves for faster acceleration during shifting with turbo cars. When switching, taking back or releasing gas, an overpressure is created in the air system. With a dump trap, the excess turbo pressure is removed from the intake system, so that your turbo remains at speed. When the accelerator pedal is depressed again, it takes less time before the turbo pressure is rebuilt.

BMW 335 (x)i E90/E91/E92/93 2006-2011BMW 335is E92 2009-2013BMW 135i E82/E88 2008-2013BMW 1 series M E82 2011-2013 Intercooler Upgrade Kit: The high performance intercooler features mesh dimensions of 510mm x 303mm x 180mm (stepped 20.65L), providing a 162% larger flow area, as well as 182% more intercooler volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high performance mesh is a high quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 13.2kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analysis in the CFD system. The intercooler kit EVO3 was developed directly for the high demands of the large tuning stages on the BMW 135i and 335i. The original click connections were eliminated and the connection diameters at the inlet and outlet were expanded to Ø70mm. Therefore, the kit includes two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. Deze dumpvalve is voor iedere Benzine-Turbomotor geschikt. De overdruk word tijdens het schakelen uit geblazen waardoor het bekende turbo geluid ontstaat zoals in de film "the fast and the furious". Je kunt met deze dumpvalve de luchtdruk aanpassen zodat je de geluidsterkte en de klank kunt veranderen. Een groot voordeel van deze afblaasventiel is dat de hete lucht niet weer in de motor wordt geblazen waardoor er vermogenswinst ontstaat. Het ventiel is vervaardigt uit aluminium.
