Competition intercooler kit for Fiat 500 Abarth The WAGNERTUNING high performance intercooler has a new competition net (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 204,6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which was developed especially for the demands of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high performance net offers an 85% larger flow area, as well as 131% more net volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). For the best possible heat exchange, the WAGNERTUNING high performance intercooler is installed in the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original side coolers. Together with the WAGNERTUNING silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this charge air cooler allows a maximum possible reduction of the charge air distance. As a result, and due to the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the general response behavior could be significantly improved. An anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from any environmental influences, as a result of which a permanent and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The installation is done by replacing the original intercooler and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
