Milltek Sport bietet ein kontinuierlich wachsendes und stimmiges Programm an Hochleistungs-Abgassystemen, das auf dem Erfolg von Marken wie Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Mini und BMW aufbaut. Milltek Sport hat bei Chip Performance einen guten Ruf und steht ganz oben auf der Wunschliste der Autobesitzer.

Milltek Sport Auspuffe sind aus hochwertigem Edelstahl, Typ 304; Diese Art von Edelstahl wird auch in der Luftfahrtindustrie verwendet! Dieses Material ist antimagnetisch (Edelstahl anderer Hersteller muss nicht sein) und ist weniger anfällig für Verfärbungen. Dieses Edelstahlmaterial wird für alle Rohre und für die gesamte Schalldämpferkonstruktion verwendet. Die Auslässe sind in der Biegetechnik gebogen. Damit bleibt der Innendurchmesser in Kurven gleich und somit ist die Strömung vollständig und die Leistung kann ohne Drehmomentverlust garantiert werden.

Resonated (leiser) oder Non-Resonated (lauter)?

Milltek Sport vermarktet seine Abgasanlagen in zwei Varianten: die resonierte Variante und die nicht resonierte Variante. Die resonierte Variante hat einen zusätzlichen Raum, Resonator genannt, mit einer Luftmenge, die das Motorgeräusch dämpft. Die Resonanz ist daher die leisere Variante, verglichen mit der nicht-resonierten. Die zusätzliche Dämpfungskammer in dem in Resonanz befindlichen Abgas liefert die gleiche Leistung wie das nicht resonierte Abgas.
