The high performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (255 mm x 260 mm x 120 mm) and thus offers a 43% larger flow area, as well as 147% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh offers the highest cooling characteristics at the cutting edge of tube-fin technology. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CAD system. The intercooler kit was developed directly for extremely high performance levels of the Audi RS4, therefore the connection diameters were also increased to Ø65mm on both sides.
A maximum cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
This kit also includes air guides made of visually appealing carbon.
The assembly takes place at the original mounting points. However, major modifications to the vehicle are necessary in order to install these intercoolers (see installation instructions).

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
