TTRS [8S] 2.5L TSI 294KW/400HP 05/2016-
The high performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (515mm x 367mm x 95mm [stepped] = 16,500cm³), providing an 84% larger flow area, as well as 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh grants sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler. It is a high quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the charge air cooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized under flow analyses in the CFD system. With the help of incorporated air baffles, in the inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler is ensured. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. Thus, this kit is suitable for racing. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the original crossmember form a stable unit and weighs, thanks to the new Competition high-performance mesh, only 11.7kg. The installation is done at the original mounting points and is easy to perform (see installation instructions for slight adjustments). Tested and pressure stable up to 6 bar. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
