The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm= 10,300cm³) and thus offers a 20% larger inflow area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. A new type of Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) is used here, which was developed directly for the demands of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. The intercooler inlets and outlets were not modified. The intercooler back pressure is identical to the stock intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.

WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.
Deze intercoolers worden met de benodigde siliconen slangen geleverd.
