The 62-1220 crankcase vent filter has a K&N embossed chrome-plated steel top with a black rubber base. The filter is 1-1/2 inches tall, 2 inches in outside diameter with a 1 inch flange which is designed to push on to the existing rubber breather grommets. Constructed with a cotton filter media it can be cleaned and reused repeatedly. An one-piece design with a rubber or chrome cap. Filters with a stud on the cover can be mounted in a different place, but hoses and clamps are required. The carter breather filters can be pressed into the rubber of the valve cover. Each base is chromed, the connecting pipes are made from zinc.
