A dump trap or blow off valve serves for faster acceleration during shifting with turbo cars. When switching, taking back or releasing gas, an overpressure is created in the air system. With a dump trap, the excess turbo pressure is removed from the intake system, so that your turbo remains at speed. When the accelerator pedal is depressed again, it takes less time before the turbo pressure is rebuilt.

The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L) and thus offers a 10% larger inflow area as well as 50% more intercooler volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh still grants enough airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg) . The revised Competition Gen.2 intercooler kit for the VAG models with the 2.0T(F)SI engine of the 1st & 2nd generation. The Competition intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L) and thus offers a 10% larger flow area as well as 50% more charge air volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh still provides sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg/ WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg) . CAD-developed free-form end boxes with integrated cast aluminium air baffle for the best possible internal air distribution.The CNC machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67mm , so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses.Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler.In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm) and thus has 17 liters of external charge air volume (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fine) grants the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still enough air flow and is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of only 8.9kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An air guide integrated in the end box allows a homogeneous filling of the Competition high performance mesh. The intercooler's inlets and outlets were enlarged to Ø 70mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler. The revised Competition Gen.2 intercooler kit for the VAG models with the 2.0T(F)SI engine of the 1st & 2nd generation. The Competition intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L) and thus offers a 10% larger flow area as well as 50% more charge air volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh still provides sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg/ WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg) . CAD-developed free-form end boxes with integrated cast aluminium air baffle for the best possible internal air distribution.The CNC machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67mm , so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses.Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler.In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance.Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM charge air cooler and is easy to carry out.All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.Available with TÜV parts certificate for many vehicles.
