The new Competition high-performance mesh still grants sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight. The end boxes of the charge air cooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized under flow analyses in the CAD system. Due to the lower back pressure of 50%, this intercooler is the best choice when it comes to low intake temperatures. Easy installation and quality are convincing. The high performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (500x388x125/stepped), providing a 62% larger flow area, as well as 108% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The new Competition high-performance mesh still grants sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight.
