De high-performance intercooler heeft de volgende netto afmetingen (515mm x 367[274]mm x 95mm) en biedt daarmee een 120% groter stromingsgebied en 142% meer charge air volume in vergelijking met de originele intercooler. Het nieuw ontwikkelde Competition high-performance gaas zorgt voor voldoende luchtstroom naar de aangrenzende componenten, zoals de waterkoeler, en is bovendien zeer licht. De eindbakken van de intercooler zijn van gegoten aluminium en werden geoptimaliseerd aan de hand van stromingsanalyses in het CAD-systeem.
