A dump trap or blow off valve serves for faster acceleration during shifting with turbo cars. When switching, taking back or releasing gas, an overpressure is created in the air system. With a dump trap, the excess turbo pressure is removed from the intake system, so that your turbo remains at speed. When the accelerator pedal is depressed again, it takes less time before the turbo pressure is rebuilt.

The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (530mm x 205mm x 95mm= 10,300cm³) and thus offers a 20% larger inflow area and 86% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. A new type of Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) is used here, which was developed directly for the demands of the Subaru WRX STi. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. The intercooler inlets and outlets were not modified. The intercooler back pressure is identical to the stock intercooler. An anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties protects our intercoolers from environmental influences. The Competition intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L), providing a 10% larger flow area and 50% more intercooler volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm) and thus has 17 liters of external charge air volume (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fine) grants the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still enough air flow and is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of only 8.9kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An air guide integrated in the end box allows a homogeneous filling of the Competition high performance mesh. The intercooler's inlets and outlets were enlarged to Ø 70mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The assembly is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring. An air guide integrated in the end box allows a homogeneous filling of the Competition high performance mesh. The port diameters were increased to Ø67mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler.
