The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L) and thus offers a 10% larger inflow area as well as 50% more intercooler volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh still grants enough airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg) . CAD developed freeform cast aluminum end boxes for best possible internal air distribution.The CNC machined hose connections were enlarged to Ø67mm , so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses.Overall this intercooler has far from less back pressure than the stock cooler.In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. The performance intercooler has the following net dimensions, 710mm x 330mm x 50mm, which corresponds to a volume of 11.7L. The performance high performance mesh provides very good cooling properties. The weight of the intercooler is 9.2kg. CAD designed cast aluminum freeform end boxes for best possible internal airflow. Overall this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do - plug and play. The original charge air hoses can still be used. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
