WAGNER Intercoolers zijn leverbaar als Performance en Competition. Het verschil zit in het type gebruikte gaas. Bij de Performance is dat "Bar & Plate" en bij de Competition "Tube Fin".
Daarnaast zijn er nog 3 verschillende volumes: EVO1, EVO2 en EVO3.
EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.

The cooling of the charged air is thus achieved by a water-cooled intercooler integrated directly into the intake manifold. The new WAGNERTUNING hybrid-carbon intake manifold with integrated intercooler has a special core, which was specially developed for the high demands of the S58 engine and offers 50% more external core volume compared to the original intercooler.The calculated ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time the best possible internal airflow.Using CFD simulations, the CNC-machined endtanks were designed for optimal airflow conditions.The result is excellent cooling with minimal back pressure. Therefore, this kit is also perfect for racing use.Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant performance increase! All WAGNERTUNING radiators have a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating for long-lasting cooling.The plug & play installation of the system is simple and easy to perform (an installation instruction is also included). Intercooler BMW X5 E70/F15 Wagner Competition kit
Competition intercooler kit for BMW X5 and X6 models from the E-series or F-series. The high performance intercooler has the net dimensions 535mm x 332mm x 150mm (stepped 19.2L) and thus offers a 113.5% larger flow area, as well as 120% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high performance mesh is a high quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 12.5kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analysis in the CFD system. This intercooler causes far less back pressure than the stock intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees a durable and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Complete ready-to-install kit, simply replace with stock intercooler - plug and play. The original charge air hoses can still be used. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring.
