EVO1 is ontwikkeld om gebruikt te worden in combinatie met de originele turbolader met als resultaat een zeer efficiënte koeling van de inlaatlucht. EVO2 en EVO3 hebben een grotere volume en gaan prima samen met de toename van inlaatlucht na een turbolader upgrade. Afhankelijk van het systeem worden ook de in- en uitlaat diameters vergroot.

The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm) and thus has 17 liters of external charge air volume (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fine) grants the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still enough air flow and is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of only 8.9kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An air guide integrated in the end box allows a homogeneous filling of the Competition high performance mesh. The intercooler's inlets and outlets were enlarged to Ø 70mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the stock intercooler. The high performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (515mm x 367[274]mm x 95mm), providing a 120% larger flow area and 142% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh grants sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very lightweight. The end boxes of the charge air cooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized under flow analyses in the CAD system. With the help of incorporated air baffles, in the entrance, is ensured a uniform filling of the intercooler. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. Thus, this kit is exactly the right thing for racing. The intercooler and the original crossmember form a stable unit and weighs only 11.2kg thanks to the new Competition high-performance mesh. The Competition intercooler EVO 2 has the following net dimensions (520x210x150/staged 13,572cm³) and thus offers an 85% larger inflow area, as well as 90% more intercooler volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high performance mesh is a high quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 7.4kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analysis in the CFD system. The original click connections were eliminated and the connection diameters at the inlet and outlet were expanded to Ø70mm. Therefore, the kit includes 2 reinforced silicone hoses. The intercooler kit EVO 2 was developed directly for the high demands of the BMW N54 & N55 engines. The result is excellent cooling characteristics with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Completely ready to install kit, installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to do. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. All our products are subject to constant qualitative monitoring. Suitable for racing.
